Research Center for Advanced Welding and Surface Engineering Technology, Sichuan Province

      The Sichuan Advanced Welding and Surface Engineering Research Center was approved in 2009 by Science& Technology Department of Sichuan Province.

      The research center focuses on high-speed and heavy-haul railways and train science and technology, and serves the railway and local economy development. The research center has five scientific and technological research platforms for railway welding technology, advanced welding technology and equipment, welding structure test and evaluation, welding materials and welding process, and surface engineering. The research center has taken charge of over twenty national-level, provincial-level and enterprise-level projects.
