The Modern Industry and Art Design Research Center, established in 2013, was ratified by Sichuan Federation of Social Sciences Circle.
The center takes industry product design, aesthetic culture of contemporary design, traditional culture heritage, and creative industry as its research objects, dedicated to deeply studying the correlation between modern design and culture. At present, its research domains include rail transportation vehicle and modern product design, contemporary aesthetics and design culture, folk culture heritage and creative industry study of minorities of southwest China. Research results in these fields have bloomed in recent years, featuring the cross disciplines and great leaps in industry development.
