The construction of the Engineering Research Center of Advanced Driving Energy-saving Technology of Ministry of Education kicked off in 2007. The engineering center takes the science and technology achievements engineering transformation construction as the main line. The construction target is to build a comprehensive platform including the R&D of high and new technology and products, the science and technology achievement transformation and personnel training. The engineering center relies on the mechanical engineering with integrated material engineering, electrical engineering, control engineering and information engineering, etc. Its main research branch includes hydraulic components design and manufacturing technology, mechatronics and hydraulics system integration and energy-saving technology, water jet and cavitation washing technology and CFD engineering visualization technology.
