Engineering Laboratory is the first national-level technological innovation platform aiming at safety and high-efficiency in China. lt has established several world-ranking technology R&D facilities for safety assessments, safety control and maintenance, operation safeguard, etc. Meanwhile, a system of technologies, standards, equipment and integration capacity with features of "beyond containment" and "strategic highland" has been formed. The laboratory represents the cutting-edge development trend of self-dependent innovation in the field of Chinese urban mass transit, and also plays an important role in improving the intelligent manufacturing capability and safety level for whole urban mass transit area.
