WOW! Six SWJTU Achievements
winners of the Prize of Sichuan Sci-Tech Progress 2020
On the morning of March 17, the Sichuan Science and Technology Award Conference was held in Chengdu. Winners of the 2020 Sichuan Science and Technology Progress Award was announced at the meeting.
SWJTU won 16 Awards. Among them, 6 achievements presided over won the first prize of science and technology progress, accounting for one sixth of the awards of its category, a record high. In addition, one achievement hosted by the university received the second prize of Sci-tech Progress, and one won the third. Two achievements participated earned the second prize , 6 achievements the third.
The specific awards are as follows:
The "Key Technology and Application of Traction Power Supply System of New Generation Rail Transportation" presided by Professor Li Qunzhan from School of Electrical Engineering secured the first prize of Technology Progress Award and Technology Invention.
The "Adaptive Antenna and Re-configurable Filtering Regulation Technology and Industrial Application in Complex Environment" hosted by Professor Feng Quanyuan from the School of Information Science and Technology, the "Evaluation and Control Technology and Application of Fatigue Wear of High-speed Rail" presided by Professor Zhou Zhongrong from School of Mechanical Engineering, the "Wind Field Characteristics, Wind Resistance Key Technology and Engineering Application of Bridges in Western Long-span Mountain Areas" hosted by Professor Li Yongle from the School of Civil Engineering, the "Complete Technology and Application of Railway Train Diagram Preparation System" presided by Professor Ni Shaoquan from the School of Transportation and Logistics, the "Theory, Technology and Application of Digital Construction of Large and Complex Steel Structures" hosted by Professor Yu Zhixiang from School of Civil Engineering, carried away with the first prize of Sci-Tech Progress;
The "Theoretical Innovation and Practice of Adaptive Urban Spatial Planning and Design in Plateau Tibetan Region" hosted by Professor Zhang Yingzi of the School of Architecture and Design won the second prize of Science and Technology Progress.
The "B/C Class Automotive Body Stamping Process Equipment Key Technology and Industrialization Application" hosted by Xie Yanmin from the School of Mechanical Engineering gained the third prize of Sci-Tech Progress;
Professor Zhu Qing from School of Earth Sciences and Environmental Engineering participated in "Key Technologies and Applications of Geographical Information Sharing Platform Based on Big Data", the second prize of Science and Technology Progress.
Zhang Zhiqiang, Ren Juan-juan, Xiao Shiguo, Guo Rui, Chen Shougen, Su Qiwang and Panyi, professors from the school of Civil Engineering, also won the prizes.
