On the afternoon of March 11th, Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU) signed the donation and industry-university-research cooperation agreement with Megory Technology Co., Ltd. in the conference room 272 of the Comprehensive Building of Xipu Campus. Zhu Jianmei and He Chuan, the Vice Presidents of the university, Li Haibing, the Vice Mayor of Wenling City, Zhang Linghui, the deputy director of Municipal Government Office ,Ye Xinjun, the Party Secretary of Wenqiao County, Ye Zhijun, the Chairman of Megory, attended the signing ceremony.
Mr. He Chuan extended his sincere greetings and warm welcome to the leaders of Wenling City and Megory Company. He briefly introduced the SWJTU history. Presently, SWJTU has already built a complete discipline system and committed itself to basic research and technological innovation in the fields of high-speed railway and maglev transportation. Its research efforts won several national sci-tech awards, making great contributions to the development of China's rail transportation.
Located in Wenling City of Zhejiang Province, one of the top 100 counties and cities in China in terms of comprehensive strength and sci-tech innovation, the company has a strong strength in the industry. Mr. He placed high hopes on the uni-enterprise cooperation, believing that fruitful results would be achieved through the joint efforts of both sides.
Mr. Li Haibing congratulated on the signing of the cooperation between the two sides and expressed his heartfelt thanks to SWJTU for its support. He introduced in detail the geographical conditions, economy and industrial development of Wenling City, Zhejiang Province. As one of the top 100 economic counties and cities with the manufacturing industry as the main support, Wenling enjoys a strong competitiveness in the country, therefore, stirring full confidence in the development of the motherland by a university-industry cooperation for a harness of opportunities and forging a better business environment .
Mr. Ye Zhijun briefly introduced the company , including its development status and strategic goals. Megoli actively develops in accordance with national Environmental Protection Requirements in wind power generation, construction machinery, aviation, railway and other industries , expecting a great prospect in the cutting tool market . Mr. Ye expressed his gratitude to the school leaders for their recognition and support, and hoped that through this cooperation, his company could master the core technology of the industry as soon as possible, so as to establish a domestic high-quality brand, and jointly contribute to the development of China's railway industry.
In the witness of the participants, Zhu jianmei and Ye zhijun signed a one-million donation agreement , and Wang Ping and Ye Zhijun signed the agreement of cooperation in production, education and research.
At the end of the ceremony, Professor Chen Hui and Chairman Ye Zhijun jointly unveiled the logo of Megoli Chengdu Research Institute.
