The assessment meeting on projects of JDA-3000 Traction Substation Digitalization and JDA-2000 Traction Substation Automation led by researchers of Southwest Jiaotong University was convened on December 27 2014 by the Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Department.
The assessment team was composed of nine experts from the Third Railway Survey and Design Institute Group Corporation Limited, the Sichuan University, the China Railway Corporation, the Chengdu Railway Bureau, the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, the China Railway First Survey and Design Institute Group Ltd., the China Railway Siyuan Survey and Design Group Co., Ltd., the China Railway Electrification Survey Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd., and the China Railway Erju Co.,Ltd. Deputy director Kang Ming of the Achievement Division of Science and Technology Bureau of Sichuan Province, deputy director Li Tao of Southwest Jiaotong University’s Science & Technology Office, and professors from the School of Electrical Engineering of SWJTU were present at the meeting.
The research teams of traction substation gave reports on project progress, technology analysis, evaluation and customer feedback. The assessment panel reviewed the projects based on the reports and examined the supporting materials carefully to draw the conclusion that the research achievements have met the standards for approval and showcased the cutting-edge results of academic study in the field. And the panel recommended the project achievements be applied in the real practice and transformed to productivity.
