Southwest Jiaotong University Rewrites The History Of Chinese Rail Vehicles By The Research And Development Of Manned HTS Maglev

      On May 4, 2014, first report of feature stories “laboratories in Chengdu” was published by Chengdu Business Daily. State Key Laboratory of Traction Power of Southwest Jiaotong University bears the brunt, in which nearly all of the kinetic studies in Rail vehicles in our country were completed.

      Manned HTS (high temperature superconducting) maglev annular test line is a young and dazzling pearl of State Key Laboratory of Traction Power, China's first manned HTS maglev annular test line, which is more high-tech than the Japanese Shinkansen and second only to Germany. On the basis of State Key Laboratory of Traction Power, National Laboratory of Rail Transit was built in Southwest Jiaotong University. National Laboratory established High-speed railway experiment platform of basic research with High-speed railway as the core, which poised for a new round of China's High-speed railway construction.
